This photograph from the 1970s had suffered greatly in its relatively short life. At some point the frame containing it had got wet, resulting in the print sticking to the glass. If this was not enough, the frame was dropped and the glass shattered scattering many shards across the print where it was not stuck firmly to the glass. After several hours of dedicated work in removing the cracks and marks in the print caused by numerous the shards of glass, the print became a family treasure that once again could be displayed. The print also required the removal of water stains and some colour adjustments.
As can be seen this print was badly cracked was also torn on the edges. Repairs to the cracks and adding a vignette made it a nice little print to frame and put back on display.
